Perspectives on the Resurrection

On Sunday morning we continue our sermon series on 'Perspectives on the Resurrection'. Tim Davis will be speaking on ‘The Raising of Lazarus’ at our 9:30 and 11:00 services.

Our regular children's activities will meet during the 9:30 service, and the baby zone and colouring tables will be set up at the front of the church, as usual.

Tiddlywinks: for babies and toddlers up to school nursery age (anyone who will turn 3 after 31st August 2024)
Scramblers: for children in Nursery and Reception school years. Nursery includes any children who turned 3 before 1st September.
Climbers: for children in school years 1 and 2
Explorers: for children in school years 3 and 4
Encounter: for children in school years 5 and 6

Monday 19th May | The Hive

The Hive is our after-school café for young people meeting from 3 to 5pm every Monday during term time. Open to young people in Year 7 upwards, we provide free hot chocolate and a slice of cake, and a safe space for them to unwind after a busy day at school and catch up with their friends.

Monday 2nd June | Sunday School for Grown-Ups

(Refreshments from 7:30pm, session starts at 7:40pm.)  In this the final session of our course 'Making Sense of the History Books' (repeated from Sunday 11th May), Katy Loffman will be delving into the different roles and depictions of Women in the Pentateuch and History Books..

Rob Shrimpton running for CALM

On Saturday 24th May, Rob Shrimpton will be running / jogging / crawling from London to Brighton to raise money for CALM, the suicide prevention charity on a mission to help people end their misery, not their lives.

Rob first raised money for CALM when grieving the loss of his father, and ran 10K, which was the biggest challenge he could could think of at the time. 10 years on from losing his dad to suicide, he plans to run 10 times further - 100K!
